Quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

This is our home. At Mermaid Wharf we have a diverse population of residents and guests. From families with children, working professionals, retired seniors, and couples on a relaxing vacation, our building is a peaceful home to all. Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep the volume low, avoid slamming doors/cupboards, and be generally considerate between the hours of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Thank you.


Mermaid Wharf Bylaws Concerning Noise
1) An owner, tenant, occupant or visitor must not use a strata lot, the common property, the limited common property or common assets in a way that:

• a) causes unreasonable noise and without restricting the generality of the foregoing, all noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and in particular between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The volumes of radios, stereos and televisions should be kept low and such appliances should be kept away from adjoining walls.

 

What should you do if you have a noise complaint?
If you have a noise complaint please contact a Strata Council member or Paul Cook for assistance. We try to resolve these issues with dialog and sharing of information. Most of the time residents do not know that noise is traveling from their condo into yours. Thank you for your patience.
